Introduction
(Disclaimer: I am not advocating that everyone or anyone who reads this go out and throw away all of their medicine. Not all of modern medicine is totally corrupt, and obviously we need doctors in a variety of situations. Blood transfusions are good and save lives. Organ transplants save lives. Many modern medicines are beneficial, and for a diabetic to throw away his insulin would be suicidal. I am speaking in general terms of the overall outlook in medicine and how a mistaken-world view has taken a serious toll on the health and finances of our society.)
I have been wanting to write on the subject of one of the largest criminal enterprises on the face of the earth for quite some time now and hopefully, finally may be able to share some thoughts about it. No, I am not talking about the Russian Mafia or their American counterparts (in fact the Mafia's involvement in the construction and waste management industries in New York during the decades of the 1930's, '40's and 50's would not hold a candle to this other organization), nor about international bankers, nor about arms merchants, nor about some strange "illuminati" conspiracy that seeks to control the world.
If you were to say drug dealers I would say that you are quite close to the mark, however these people are not your typical international criminal enterprises that deal in illicit drugs that have been banned from public consumption, such as heroin, cocaine, marijuana and the like. The organization that I am referring to is actually much larger than some of those other organizations, and is really a broad, loosenit group of organizations of educated professionals who are much more corrupt, wield much more control over some of their victims through propaganda and extortion, and have such a respectable facade that they are held in high esteem as a profession in society, and through their influence they are able to rob and defraud their victims legally, with the full cooperation of the government. They are also responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of innocent victims every year.
This is not a conspiracy where men get together on cloistered rooms and purposely plot against the general welfare of the populace. It is simply an institutionalised type of feudalism, where the people are held in bondage due to ignorance to an elite guild of professionals who hold sway over their lives in much the same way that the High Priests of some ancient pagan society wielded control over their subjects.
The local representative of this organization may have a familiar face. He is not someone you would suspect of wrong doing, and indeed he or she may think that they are doing you much good, even as a native tribal witchdoctor thinks he is curing his patient with the blood of a chicken sprinkled over a campfire, even when they are reaching into your pockets to take your last dime in the name of being benefactors, robbing widows of their pensions, extorting the government agencies that provide a sort of welfare system to keep them in business, and pocketing huge kickbacks from the legalised drug pushers who work hand in hand with them as they ply their unholy trade in human misery.
The organization that I am referring to is the modern medical establishment; the AMA, the ADA and the pharmaceutical industries that work alongside them. I have a personal interest in this as well, because I was a victim of this establishment and nearly lost my life due to their inept methods of treating disease, and then after they had caused serious injury to me they sent me home to die.
In my own case, for years I suffered from tiredness and frequent depression that caused me great difficulty in my personal and professional life. Looking back on it now I believe that much of the problem with my health was partially if not mainly the result of having my teeth full of mercury fillings that poisoned my entire body over the years.
Mercury is one of the deadliest
chemicals on earth, and yet for over one hundred years it has been used in
amalgams to fill up cavities in teeth; amalgams which many dentists know can
leach into the system and poison the body. Many dentists themselves refuse to
have mercury amalgams put into their own teeth but freely put them into their
patients' teeth. Then why do they use it? One major reason: It is cheap.
One
of the chief reasons for the founding of the American Dental Association (ADA)
in the nineteenth century was to form a lobbying group to enforce legislation
that would allow them to use mercury amalgams in their practice, because
even back then it was known how dangerous mercury was and there were concerned
citizens who wanted to outlaw this practice. Unfortunately the ADA prevailed and
to this day this barbaric practice is still allowed, although with recent
exposure many dentists are starting to switch to enamel fillings. This henious
cover up should have been one of the greatest scandals in modern history, but
you will hear little or nothing about it in the popular media.
During the decade of the 1990's I began to have more serious breakdowns in my health. In 1990 I was bitten by a deer tick and briefly suffered from lime disease but that was halted through anti-biotics. I also had a pulmonary embolism in my lungs in that same year. This eventually led to my occasional hospitalisation over the next ten years.
In 1990-1991 I began to have recurring earaches in my left ear and frequent sore throats. I went a few times to have my ear and throat looked at but was told there was nothing wrong. In fact, the doctor joked that I was just imagining things. One evening I was having dinner with some friends and they told me that I looked pale. My throat was giving me more trouble, and I was dizzy and in pain. I want to the doctor to have it looked at one more time. There was a different doctor this time, and she found that the tooth on the side where I was having the earaches had developed into a granuloma, which is a severe infection that in some cases is considered pre-cancerous. I had it taken out and for a few years my health returned to normal.
Around 1995 I had a second breakdown in
my health. I had become sick and tired and could barely walk up a
normal flight of stairs.
I did not drink and had never been a smoker,
however I realised that I needed a lifestyle change to improve my health. I
began to study natural and alternative methods for healing and began to put
some of them into practice. My main emphasis was diet and herbs and
internal cleansing. I cut out red meat and pork, stayed away from junk food, and
used butter or olive oil instead of margarine on my food. I also
studied Chinese herbal medicine and began making my own formulas.
This
led to a gradual recovery of normal health, and by 1997 I was jogging
3-4 miles a week and going back to college. Unfortunately, with the return of
good health I began to neglect my diet again and with that neglect there was a
gradual decline in my health, with the last breakdown occuring during the years
of 1999-2002.
In 1999 I began to have problems with another severely abscessed tooth and did not have the money to take care of it myself. Most of the dentists required an up front fee which I could not afford.
Within two years of that time my health deteriorated dramatically. I was in almost constant pain with my tooth and I began to suffer from muscular and skeletal pain all over my body and would get colds and flu that lasted for weeks. I also had severe acid reflux and was given medication for that.
In 2001 I suffered my
second pulmonary embolism which I nearly died from and had to be
taken by ambulance to the local hospital where I stayed for a week. The
doctors put me on coumadin and high blood pressure medicine. They also put me on
cholesterol medication. During that same time my prostate became severely
infected. My PSA count went up from 6, which is considered high, to 19.
So I was put on prostate medication as well.
I was seen by various doctors on a number of occasions during this period and I tried to tell them that I believed my prostate problem, along with the other difficulties, was possibly the result of an infection in the blood that was caused by my abscessed tooth. They scoffed at this and my tooth was never treated. I was extremely poor during this period and only had partial medical insurance apart from the VA program, and the VA did not do dental work. As mentioned, what little insurance I did have did not cover dental bills.
With my extremely high PSA count (If it
reaches 3-4 the prostate can be removed for possible signs of cancer. If it goes
over 10 this is generally taken as a positive sign for cancer. A PSA count of 19
is off the chart) the VA doctor recommended me for two biopsies, one
in late 2000 and the second one in early 2002.
Both of them turned out
negative, however during the second biopsy something went seriously
wrong.
The first biopsy had been very
painful, but during the second one I was in agony. I could tell by the look
on the nurse and doctor's faces that something was wrong when I sat up on the
operating table after the second biopsy. They put an enormous diaper on me and
sent me home.
When I arrived home the diaper was soaked in blood. I
was also in intense pain and had difficulty urinating and my abdomen was very
swollen, I suspected from internal bleeding. I called the VA up a couple of days
later, and they had me sent back to the Veterans hospital to be looked at. The
doctor who saw me joked with the nurse about the wine that he had for lunch
while he passed a small scope over my lower abdomen that lasted for the space of
15 seconds, then he pronounced me fit and sent me back home. I could barely walk
out of the office.
I had massive internal hemorrhaging (which came out in discharges) and external bleeding for many months after that, along with intense pain, weakness and internal cramping, possibly caused by a rupture of my bowel and urinary canal during the second biopsy which might also have caused a staff infection, and my kidneys were severly inflamed, however the VA would not admit to anything and they refused to do anything to help remedy the situation.
I phoned the nurse at the VA and suggested that perhaps they should take me off of the coumadin I had been on since the pulmonary embolism a year earlier but she insisted that I continue to take it. I was told that a little bleeding after a biopsy is normal, however the bleeding after the second biopsy was profuse. After five months of bleeding and getting more ill I could barely walk across the street. One morning when I was unable to urinate we went to the emergency room at the local hospital. It is a very painful and frightening experience to have a full bladder and not be able to discharge. When the physicians saw that I did not have full medical coverage outside of the VA and had no large personal sums of money, they inserted a catheter in me, charged me a pretty penny for the visit, and then sent me home to die and washed their hands of me.
After they sent me home my wife and I felt that I was on my death bed. My whole system seemed to be shutting down. It was then I decided to take matters into my own hands. After all, what could I lose? First of all I prayed and asked God what to do. Then I threw away all of my medicine; the prostate medicine, the high blood pressure medicine, the coumadin that they had insisted I still take after the pulmonary embolism in 2001 even when I had been hemorrhaging for months after the prostate biopsy, the high cholesterol medicine - it all went into the trash.
Then I went on a four day water fast and afterwards a juice fast and then a fruit and vegetable fast. Within two weeks the catheter came out and I was able to urinate again. (The doctor who removed the catheter, Bruce Barrows of Providence Medical Plaza in Southern Oregon, assured me that "a little bleeding" is not unusual after a biopsy. My wife was my witness to the undergarments we had to throw away that had been soaked in my blood during this five month ordeal . Barrows also said that I might be imagining my stomach pains and that they were probably not connected to my prostate problem, and then said that the biopsy could have been a false negative and that I might very well have had cancer. How he could say that I might have cancer and then state that the stomach pains were probably just my imagination and not connected to any of this was beyond me.)
At this point I had had enough of
doctors. I began using herbs, mainly Essiac, for my healing and was a vegetarian
for about a year. Now I understood why a few years earlier the Lord had led me
to study natural healing. I started using natural antibiotics along with the
prescription antibiotics I had already been using to help with the tooth
infection, mainly tea-tree oil and colloidal silver. I began taking vitamin E
and fish oil supplements for my blood pressure and cholesterol.
Gradually
I began to recover my health, although it was a slow process.
Over a two
year period from 2002 -2004 I recovered sufficiently to begin normal
employment again, however the tooth still gave me problems.
It was
early 2004 when I was finally able to have the tooth removed. That saw another
dramatic improvement in my health. Prior to this if I went for a few months
without taking antibiotics my entire body would be in pain, usually
around the joints of my bones. Within a few weeks after the tooth
was removed I no longer had to take antibiotics to ease the pain of the
infection. The inflamation, soreness and stiffness in my bones was gone and I
could move about more easily. Thus it turned out that I was right about the
tooth when none of the doctors would payed any attention to this.
I
was scheduled earlier this year to have another biopsy - Dr. Barrows
- when my PSA count was 15, just prior to having the tooth removed. I
refused to have the third biopsy.
After the tooth was removed my PSA
count went down to 9 within a couple of weeks.
I felt as though I had a
new body and a new lease on life. Praise the Lord.
God has been very good to me and in answer to my prayer He has led me to many rich resources for wisdom during this period. It seemed as though from a variety of sources I was able to find just the information I needed when I needed it. Hippocrates dictum became my lifesaving motto: "Let your food be your medicine and your medicine your food."
I thank God each and every day now that I am alive and able to get out of bed. I have nothing to thank the doctors for. They nearly killed me with their stone-age methods of treating disease. I am not merely talking about a bungled operation, although that was one of the primary reasons for my last illness, but about willful neglect of the medical establishment. This also has to do with the wrong way to treat disease, it is about the entire medical outlook prevalent in today's world that is based on evolutionary concepts of biology and health, concepts based on falsehoods that have done untold damage to millions of human lives. My own story is not unique; I am one of many with similar stories of medical disasters that have been perpetrated in the name of this wrong method of treating disease, or more accurately a misdirected method of diagnosing the cause of an illness, and thus a mistaken understanding of how to cure it.
Part of what I hope to do in this writing is to show how medical science over the past century and a half has gotten off the track of truly healing individuals and has become a process of treating only the symptom of the disease or of patching up a mess in the aftermath of a serious breakdown in the patients health when they have deteriorated to the point of convalescence.
The doctors said that I should stay on coumadin for the rest of my life. I have been free of coumadin for nearly three years now and have not had a re-occurence of the blood clot that nearly cost me my life. My prostate feels fine. I am no longer in pain, my joints no longer ache, my muscles feel fine and I ride my bicycle all over town. I also have almost no acid reflux at all, unless I stray from my diet. My only symptom now of my prior illness is that sometimes when I eat cheese or drink milk late at night I might have a problem urinating later on, which indicates to me that there was probably a rupture between the wall of my bowel and my urinary tract during the second prostate biopsy.
I no longer take high blood pressure medicine, prostate medicine, or high cholesterol medicine. I generally avoid doctors for fear of my life. I have learned to use natural methods to maintain good health, along with vitamin supplements, which of course cannot be exclusively patented and need no prescription, thus the doctors can not make a bundle of money from then and hence rarely prescribe them for patients health.
My reason for writing this is because I have become acquainted with human suffering, both my own, and that of others; elderly, poor - educated and uneducated - needy people looking to their doctors for the answer and too often being given just another prescription to ease the pain, a narcotic, or scheduled for an unecessary operation when a change in lifestyle would not only yield long lasting and genuine results, but would allow them to keep their life savings as well, and I wanted to help people find a way out of their suffering, as I found a way out of my suffering when I was on the point of death and the medical establishment that was responsible for my illness washed their hands of me because I did not have the money or the health insurance to make me a valuable enough commodity for them to bother with. (I had refused to return to the VA, fearing for my life should they attempt another routine surgery on me. I am still paying off medical bills from my hospitalisations from 2000-2002.).
